Pursuant to Article 98 of the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia, Professor Dragan Primorac, PhD, was decorated with “The Order of Croatian Star with the Effigy of Ruđer Bošković“ – for extraordinary achievements in science.
Professor Dragan Primorac, PhD, is one of the world’s leading forensic geneticists, having published nearly 200 papers and abstracts and, according to Google Scholar, being cited more than 2700 times. He holds a chair at the Penn State and New Haven universities and at the Faculties of Medicine in Split and Osijek, in addition to being a cofounder of the Department of Forensic Science with the University of Split.
So far, he has received 17 national and international awards, and is currently serving as President of the International Society of Applied Biological Sciences (ISABS) and as President of the Governing Council of St. Catherine Specialty Hospital.
