Prof. Primorac with the President of Penn State University, Prof. Rodney A. Erickson

2 March 2012 – Professor Dragan Primorac met with President of the Penn State University Professor Rodney A. Erickson. The meeting was an excellent opportunity to discuss about the cooperation of Penn State University with Croatian universities, especially with regard to the very successful current collaboration with the University of Split and the opportunity for Croatian students to study at Penn State. On this occasion President Erickson accepted the invitation of Professor Primorac to visit Croatia next year. According to the leadership of the University Penn State has an annual enrollment reported at about 110,000 candidates, of which only one out of ten students is admitted. In the last year’s ranking of all U.S. universities, Penn State University was ranked 7th in the field of basic sciences. On this occasion, Professor Primorac gave President Erickson a handmade original Croata cravat of special design.
