Prof. Dragan Primorac participated as invited speaker during the 22nd International Academy of legal Medicine Congress that was held in Istanbul from July 5-8,2012.

Founded in 1938, in Bonn (Germany), the IALM is the oldest and most famous scientific association with international scope in the sphere of Legal Medicine and the Forensic Sciences. Nearly 1,500 scientists and experts from 80 countries participated in the congress. Ten workshops, 60 panel discussions and 1,109 presentations was held within the scope of the congress. Among others, during the Congress Prof. Primorac met Sadullah Ergin, Turkish Minister of Justice, Prof. Thomas Bohan (President of AAFS 2009-2010), Prof. Robert Barsley (President of AAFS 2012-2013), Judge Haskell Pitluck (President of AAFS 1995-1996) and many others.
