Dragan Primorac, author of Sports Law, who made it possible for FC “Hajduk” to convert its debts overnight into equity, and filled the club cash box with funds from small shareholders, kept pointing out one thing while we were discussing the privatization of Hajduk ;”The City, as a majority holder has to invest into FC “Hajduk”, has to behave in a manner of a responsible majority shareholder as the reconstitution funds would otherwise quickly go. If the City has no intention of investing, then it has to find another owner or a group of investors who would contribute with fresh capital and take over the responsibility. In other words, Kerum must either invest in FC “Hajduk” or sell it.
