1st European-American Spine and Chronic Pain Symposium and Workshops Bol, Island of Brac, Croatia, September 14-16, 2012.
The conference is first in the series of biennial events organized by the World Institute of Pain, USA; St. Catherine Hospital, Croatia; Carolinas Pain Institute, USA; Croatian Society for Spine Surgery, Croatia; Croatian Association for the Treatment of Pain, Croatia, the International Society for Applied Biological Sciences, and Sceptor Pain Foundation, USA to promote minimally-invasive approaches in spine care and pain management.
Our participant-friendly yet intense educational activities together with hands-on courses are delivered by internationally acclaimed experts in the field of pain managment. It Symposium will cover existing techniques, novel approaches and possible new treatments for further improvements in therapeutic performances.
The Symposium Scientific Board is working extensively in preparing a comprehensive program representing the very latest evidence-based and best-practice-based spine care and pain management in all areas and disciplines interested in this subspecialty.
The conference is structured to allow close interaction between the international faculty and attendees. Together with formal presentations, there will be meet-the-professor sessions, local excursions and other social occasions that are meant to enhance opportunities for scientific dialogue, but also to introduce the participants to the town of Bol, one of the jewels of Croatia due to its unspoiled nature, beautiful beaches, cultural and historical attractions.
